About Steadyworks

Steadyworks is a data research lab powering the next generation of AI. We partner with frontier AI labs to build expert-grade datasets, reinforcement learning environments, and evaluation infrastructure that improve state-of-the-art models. Our team previously built frontier AI systems at Meta, Google Research, Autodesk, and other leading organizations.

What you'll work on

You'll own a real slice of production infrastructure — not a side project. Expect to ship code that runs against frontier-model traffic by the end of your internship.

• Building features across our data, evaluation, or environment platform
• Improving developer tooling for our researchers and domain experts
• Standing up new pipelines or internal apps from scratch
• Working closely with founders on design and code review

We're looking for someone who

• Is a current or recent student in CS or a related field
• Has shipped a non-trivial project end to end (personal, open source, or prior internship)
• Cares about how a system feels to use, not just whether it runs

Logistics

• In-person in San Francisco preferred; strong remote candidates considered
• Minimum 10-week commitment; longer preferred
• Paid
