Steadyworks builds training data, benchmarks, and reinforcement learning environments for AI research organizations, robotics companies, and physical AI applications.

We do not collect personal information from the public to create training data, we do not scrape personal data, and our datasets do not contain personal information about individuals. The personal information described below relates only to ordinary business interactions.

We do not collect sensitive personal information, we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects, and our services are not directed to children under 16.

To respond to enquiries, to provide and administer our services, to evaluate job applications, to meet legal and tax obligations, and to keep our systems secure. We use personal information only for the purpose it was provided for.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not disclose it for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share it only with service providers who process it on our instructions, currently our cloud infrastructure, email and productivity, code hosting, and payment providers, and where we are legally required to disclose it.

Enquiries for 2 years from last contact. Unsuccessful job applications for 12 months. Customer, supplier, and contractor records for the relationship plus 4 years. Financial records for 7 years. We then delete it, including from our backups within 90 days.

You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it where we have no legal or contractual reason to keep it, provide it in portable form, or stop using it for a particular purpose.

Contact team@steadyworks.ai and we will respond within 30 days. We honor these requests for everyone who asks and we will never treat you differently for making one.

Personal information is held in access-controlled systems requiring multi-factor authentication, encrypted in transit and at rest, accessible only to those who need it, and used only on company-issued encrypted devices. We have a documented incident response process and will notify you and any relevant regulator if a breach affecting your information occurs, as required by law.

We are based in the United States and process personal information there. Where we receive personal information from outside the United States, we use appropriate safeguards for that transfer.

We will update this notice as our practices change and post the revised version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated directly where we hold your contact details.
